Accelerating noise
OK, just wanted to see if anyone else was hearing a similar on acceleration, although this is going to be hard to describe.
When pulling away, in the lower 2-3K rpm I hear a repeating 'swishing/brushing' noise. It's related to speed, increasing in frequency as the speed picks up, and basically sounds like I'm hearing something rotating.
Thanks

Does the sound vary w/ the rotation speed of the bike or the rpm of the engine? If the former, it may be a wheel or brake rotor.

I think it's the speed of the bike

Ahh that'll be it. The wheezing of all those minature horses living in my engine
Had a closer look and I think it's just the brake pad rubbing against the disk.

Haven't worn my earplugs on this bike yet. Just love the sound of the exhaust too much
