Just got off a 400 mile ride and...

My butt is sore. The seat's good for about an hour and a half.

The rest of me is fine!

The bike passes cars at freaking will - uphill, 8% grade, starting at 75 MPH, it doesn't matter. This whole ride was very spirited, me and two others, but there were hardly any twisties.

The weather miscooperated in Eastern Arizona, I have this to report: the bike is rock-solid in the rain (as has been reported before), but offers about 0% protection in hail...

Now, to go nurse my bruises with whiskey...

400 mile ride, damn I got to do better . . . half way to 1000 miles now, really want to get the break in thing behind me this week coming. Did you guys pit stop often or just gased up and kept hauling? Congrats on getting such a nice ride in.

I posted over on the 12 side, did a 250 mile ride yesterday. Good fun, found a couple great roads. Took just a little scoot today and finished off the 1000. In fact, when I pulled in and parked, it was reading a grand on the nose. Hey, has anyone noticed it's a lot easier to just drop the lower off in one piece than fuss with the fasteners and take just the left half off? Only six allens to undo and it comes right off...

Yeah, I agree about the lowers...

Michael, gassed n' went, until the stop after the hailstorm (Rincon Pass, just before the Texas Canyon); we stopped and thawed for a while...
