In the DRIVEWAY..........NOOOOOO!!!!

923 miles, Black, Scotts steering dampener, Ballmoto fender eliminator, short stalk rear indicators, european front indicators (on the plane from UK), and.....................................................................................................................broken left footpeg, cracked left rear tail section. I don't believe it!!!!!!! scratches here and there.

Watch out for the kickstand, if there is even a hint of decline....... I could put my RC51 there easily, but apparently not the 10.

Good thing though, Kawasaki makes the tail section in pieces so you don't have to replace the entire tail section.

Damn.

Damn that sucks!

I noticed the kickstand thang this weekend and noted it for future reference just in case - seems like we'll need ta do the kickstand mod like the Busa guys.

Bad luck.

The obvious interpretation of this is that you mean a decline going away from the front of the bike (i.e. the bike is pointing downhill slightly), but rather than just making an assumption can you confirm this?

Thanks

This bike rolls very easily in neutral compared to my former bikes. I think that is part of the problem.

Yep, noticed that at stoplights. Any kind of incline/decline, she'll move on ya. I'm well trained from four years of ferry boat commutes. Only place I ever put the bike in neutral is inside my garage.

Yes. You are correct Rogue Jay. I used to be able to warm up the RC just outside my garage door, where it just 'relatively' flat. It was in neutral and I believe the vibration from the engine moved it just enough.

Zed, I considered the whole 'ghost' theory..... you may be right... I haven't thougt once about my RC since I sold it, it just may be pissed....

Oh well, I just gonna take this 'one day at a time' , I may need to go to counseling.

Just think of it as 'starting your track day bodywork collection'.
