Production Bike Changes

I noticed on the brochure I got from the dealer (few days before purchase) that the forks are silwer and don't have the DLC on them - wonder why?

Also - the center of the clutch cover had a half-dollar (I guess) sized adjuster(?) in the center of it too, this change is actually documented with a lil addendum in the front of the owners manual.

Nothin exciting - just wondering.

The Ninja Sprtbike 2004 brochure I have shows the production forks and clutch cover. I did see the things you noticed in the press material. I wonder what purpose the redesigned clutch cover serves, maybe it has to do with the slipper clutch.

I figured that maybe letting the customer adjust the slipper clutch may have been too much of a liability - maybe it's a "kit" part.

I hope Kawi does race parts for the 10 like they do for the 636.

Specifications subject to change without notice.

Those units are early pre-production machines.
