Green or Orange? Is green a poser color? Ok faced with a bit of a problem. I just shipped my Gixx today. Now I have no bike to my name. I have an orange Zx on order but the shop has a green one in the crate (ready to go). My question is do I wait for the orange or go with green. I like both colors equally. But I have some concerns about the negative effect of the green. Is it to much of a poser color. It has been on kawi sportbikes for years. Every green bike I have seen in the past has a no helmet wearing yellow windscreen and amber light having poser at the wheel. Will I be put in that category. Sorry I don't mean to offend any real riders that just enjoy the color and bikes of the past. This is my only prob with the green. Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic. Should I wait or go with green. Also does anyone know is the orange the same as the 750 and the zx6. Thanks

how much more of a poser color is there than orange ? but between the two in my opinion wait for the orange. but not 2 long.

I understand the orange is a poser color. Just no rep of it. Really wait for orange. Your prob correct Ohio weather sucks it will be a few weeks to ride anyways.

well i certainly understand your delema as i am waiting for blue but am ready to settle for next best. my opinion thats orange. but nope thats not happening either. might say f... it pretty soon . my dealer will take my deposit on the cbr 1000 as well.

The CBR is a trick and cool looking bike, tho I would still wait for the Kaw. I would do the Honda way before the Zuk or Yammma. But if you can wait "Just Do It." Good Luck Dude . . . . Mike

kevy. I was on a CBR 1000 today. Oh my the thing felt fat. I just got rid of the gixx tho but had a TL1000R b4 that. all I have to say is it felt like the TL BIG AND BULKY. Fit and finish is pretty good. That steering damper wow that thing is the size of a pizza pan.I have a scotts for the ZX already and let me tell ya it is much smaller. The CBR is heavy and the cluster looked way outdated kinda like my friends RC51. I have seen the blue in person (It is killer) wait I think it will be worth it. Oh did I mention my back is killing me from that HOnda WOW it takes effort just to get it off of its sidestand.I am not joking

thanks for the advice because my cousin has an 02 TLR and we switch bikes all the time and i hate it. it's big and it's heavy. if the CBR is any inclination of theTL i will definitely wait. thanx for your opinion.

Is the green really metallic like the other three colors? I have not seen a green one in person, but I am impressed with the depth of the paint on my black one. I don't usually like black cars and bikes, but in the sunlight it looks like silver paint over black paint.
If the green is not metallic, I would go for the orange. With the black frame, the orange looks good in the pictures.

Blue is the only non-poser color.
Wait for the color you like best, it'll be worth it. If you're like me you'll have it for a long time. Don't settle for second best.

Thanx for posts guys. I think I am going to wait for the orange. I was talking to my wife about getting an 04 R1 and painting it orange. Not sure I guess I have time to play with Photo shop now.

lol... ya the bikes that have to be broken in before you by them; id stick it out for the 10 if possiable; and the more i look at the orange the more i like it.

went to look at the green today. Does anyone know if the orange is the same as on the zx6 and the 750 ??? IF it is I will def go with the green. That orange is pearl or something looks peach in person.
