Front Blinkers - Korea Saw the old Itaewon(SP) Kawasaki dealership yesterday had a ZX-10R on the floor. Stopped by and talked to them about ordering the same blinkers for mine. They thought I was crazy until I showed them my post here on bikeland.org that 1)proved I owned a ZX-10R and 2)that not all 10Rs have the same blinkers! They were like, "what in the world". Then again, when I left here a month ago that place was a Triump dealership only...now kawasaki too
Anyway, they'll call my cell about front blinkers and the rear tail peace within a few weeks. If it's a good thing or not, I'll let ya all know soon as I do,

Ok, here we go. First off, understand the language barrier is basically like riding a three wheel tricycle from California to Georgia with one eye closed sitting on handlebars, facing backwards and missing the front wheel. That about sums that up
Today I walk down to check things out. They have ordered a rear seat cowling in green for their bike and ready to order my front blinkers. I tell him I want to see a picture and he shows me the Japan schematic that was faxed over and circles my parts. It looks to be an inner, gasket and outer or about three parts total per side. I ask him how much and he says 57,000won. Fast math in my head says that's about $49 bucks! I ask him about the rear-cowl and he says since they have a green ZX-10R, they just ordered one and I can have it Wednesday. I ask how much, he says 84,000won. Head math tells me I'm looking at around $72.
Total came to 141,000won which is around $121. Don't remember what your all paying and I don't have mine yet. But it's on order and should be here next week

P.S. Can you believe he is actually ordering American Spec Blinkers for the ZX-10Rs! Maybe I need to go back to him and cut a trade deal...Dang, there closed on Sunday and it's already 7:30 pm here. Will have to look into this more ____________

rollindeuce - welcome to the board!!! I was up north my 2nd tour (97-98), Yongsan 93-94. This time, I'm at the K and live in Itawon. Only about 3 months to go
Funny, the bikers here come in two flavors:
1) Harley Bar Hoppers
2) serious all weekend sportbike riders.
But, I left my bike stateside and eventually sold it...and while home on leave, picked up Nasty, (ZX-10R Green)
Anyone heard from fish lately?

Thanks, the board is very informative. I leave for the desert in about 3 weeks. I am going to stay on the board while I am over there and it will be the closest thing I will have to a bike and riding community for a very long time plus I can see everyones experience with all the tweeks and parts they install.
