Hump Mod?
Looking at the parts diagram - looks like a hump mod will be in order for a lil storage space.
Is there an open space behind the cushion on front of the rear seat cover or are we gonna hafta make one?

I'm not clear on where you think you can find space? Looking at my 10 I cant see much other than perhaps sawing out the divider that keeps the tool kit away from the electrics.

Storage is an issue, and once my Power Commander is installed, there won't even be room for a condom back there.

Shaving out the divider might not be a bad ideal F/A. I will eyeball it for a few days.

I think what 'D' is talking about is modifying the hump. The piece you have to pay extra for that goes over the rear seat.

Yep - like the Busa where we'd cut the hard plastic under the hump so that the hump became storage space.
Was wondering if the black pad (absorber according to Kawi) left any kind of a hole when it was removed for a similair effect.

Just wondering...Has every one noticed the tag at the bottom of the radiator? Showed it to my bud who rides a 00 12R and it has the same thing...Except it's for a little peace of plastic that more or less fills in the hole there. Did Kaw start to put something there for the 10R? It wont work for what this thread is about, but it made me wonder before I left.
