Dino's in denial... He thinks that when he gets his 10R, he'll barely ride it cuz he thinks his 12R is better... he goes so far as to say that he cant wait to race 10R with his 12R cuz he'll beat them in the twisties.
Apparently he's been heavily abusing glue or some other substance... so let's all remind him of this post 2 weeks or so from now once he finally has his 10R and he's begging to sell his portly old 12R.

Hogfuckinwash!! I said I'll keep my 12 and it will probably remain my main ride. I'll ride the 10 while I 'm working on the 12.(I still have a few projects that need to be finished.) I don't want to sound cocky here, but I guarantee you I'll be leaving a 10 or two in the twisties. They can't be THAT much better than R1's.!!! ( a top-notch bike means nothing without a capable rider aboard)
I'll get some riding time in on the 10 and get used to it, but the 12 will remain my main bike. When I find someone who leaves my ass in the tight stuff, I might have to take the 10 the next time I ride with them
Jeez,.....I sound like Dirty Pete.
Oh fish............you owe me a beer! You do remember saying " you'll never ride your 12 again" don't you????

I would have to believe that the ability of a 12R to keep with a 10R on twisty roads drops proportionally as the tightness of the roads increases. (i.e. I can't see a 12R keeping up at Deal's Gap - even with a wide disparity in rider skill).

There's a 929 down in Placerville that does quite well!
