Thanks for the congratulations!

What a bike, totally awesome machine. Chassis 100% Power 100%, felt at home the moment I rode away from the dealers. Makes the 7R totally redundant, the 10 makes the 7 feel like a bag of nails - I never thought I'd be saying that about my Ninja, we love it soooo much.

We've had a discussion about our 7R, and I'm afraid it has to go. Going by my first 100+ miles, the 7R will never be ridden again. We've toured France for two years running on it, without any problems, two-up and fully loaded with panniers and tank bag. The problem we have now is the 10R won't take any panniers, because of the high level muffler, this year won't cause us a problem as one of our friends has said he'll take them for us, but, future trips could be compromised.

ZX12R Question????
So, we're looking for a 12R for the long haul European trips, prefer to get an '02 machine due to the updates to the chassis. Is there anything we need to look out for or be aware of when looking to buy an '02 model? Any info would be appreciated.

Glad you got yours too bud, otherwise I'd feel a tad guilty seeing you ordered yours in October.

You know, the '04 12R promises to be the best yet...Radial brakes, new gen fuel injection...But the savings when getting an '02 can't be ignored.

high exhaust and no paniers.... I hadnt thought about that! ... you raise a good point digga... I have to go and take a look at all of my different paniers and see if any will work on the 10R... a bracket of some sort perhaps?
