I replied. Kelly's is a good dealer, I'll work with them. Heck, I'd consider Havasu though, if I can get a black one for the right price.

And as an added bonus, you can rent a jetski while your there and shred the lake! Lake Havasu; Jetski capital of the world!!!!

Oh yeah, my wife will really love that - "honey, gotta run off to Havasu with the boys. We're gonna get the new 10R, and a case of beer, rent a jetski, and hang out overnight, during Spring Break. Watch for me on the 11 o'clock news."

Got a quote today for $10,640 otd ("all inclusive" for Scott). He also told me he expects a few to be here next week, and its only 15 minutes away.

Andy,
What's the tax rate where you live? If it's about 8%, that's a reasonable price for the bike (Ft Worth is 8.25%, right?).

The shop is in Irving but I'm sure its the same as over here. The state only allows up to 8.5 on sales tax.
I'm pretty happy about that since the first two shops that I visited wouldn't go under list price.

I see some ads on Cycle Trader for 9699, more for 9999, and a few more for MSRP @ 10,999.

Anyone have a contact in Canada? I know when the 12R came out a lot of guys from the US were going up North across the border to save a couple thousand dollars because of the exhange rate and lower prices..
