akrapovic

Akrapovic HYDROFORMING RACING and EVOLUTION exhaust systems for the Kawasaki ZX 10 R represent the beginning of a new direction in development and materials forming at our company. These systems are also the flagships of the Akrapovic production range. They offer the kind of performance which great riders of Supersport bikes like the ZX will appreciate. Every thousandth counts on the track, and these systems will definitely give you a few extra. State-of-the-art materials, high-quality production and the company's racing experience pay off on the bottom line. The Kawasaki engine with an Akrapovic exhaust puts out an incredible 165.5 HP at 11900 rpm. The power increase over the stock curve is also incredible, a full 11.2 HP at 12500 rpm. And we shouldn't forget to mention the renown of the Akrapovic name, which is increasing every year through our cooperation with world factory and private racing teams. The tubes materials for the RACING and EVOLUTION 1 systems are different; the RACING uses stainless steel, while the EVOLUTION 1 uses titanium.

Don't get your panties in a bind about the torque numbers. I believe the units are in Kg-meters. Multiply by .74 to get ft-lbs. That translates to roughly around 81 ft-lbs peak torque.
