Thursdays Test & Tune Forecast!!! Kilkare Ohio
Looking for a mostly sunny day with a HIGH of only 53 degrees!! Should be around 50 degrees at 6:00pm, dropping to around 45 by the end of racing at 9:00pm.
Humidity will be around 50% (again!)
For the Barometer, we're looking for 30.15 during race times!
WOOHOOO. Good stuff my ladies!!
Just prepped the bike too, put in a few new clutch fibers and steels, but only about 5 of each. I had already moved them around last week.
As long as the Schinko sticks, it should be a great night!!!

sometimes you're the bug, sometimes youre the windshield.
I went 9.42 at 149.5, with a 4.13 and 6.18 @122.3 in the 1/8th. (1.59 short time I think)
you should see the run. 1st gear has two wheelies. It's pretty cool looking. I pulled the wheelie down with the clutch and, heck, I don't even know if it actually touched the pavement, but as soon as it was very very close to the pavement, you see it go up again, but not as high and carry out the rest of 1st gear. Did I mention it was cool looking?
Tomorrow night (Friday) is another "street race" night or something and no slicks or race bikes or race cars are allowed. I'll probably go again and give it another go........

Patrick, are you going to run down in Cincy (Edgewater??) or are you coming up to Kilkare?
that short time is pretty good, keep getting into the gas quicker between 100' - 300' and that 9.7x is easily yours.

BA,
For a 1.59 short time, you are either very light weight or some strong motor in the 12 to run a 9.42@149 What have you done to the motor?

I'm a lightweight. It's an on-going joke.
I'm about 150-155 in leathers. The motor is still stock, valve-cover never off yet, ......could use a valve job, but lots of other little tricks outside of the motor. Lots of practice too.
