Im still on the fence about what kind to get. Apparently retail price on the MR9 is 110 bucks for a 5 gallon jug.
According to VP....the ultimate4 is the exact same shit as MR9....but a bit higher octane(95 compared to MR9s 92)....and about 1/3 the price.
I think ill give that a shot...if you want to see if they have a jug or so of it up there at prostar...ill split it with you for next wed.

Weather was pretty good... moderate humidity (65-70%) and cool temp - around 68-70 (ha ha BA).
ZRX -1109cc, 12:1 CR, stock head, ZX11 cams, 38mm Lectrons, Muzzy sidewinder, 6-over arm, VP 'Motorsport 103' sold at the track, new MCR2, 670lbs.

I also ran a 9.65, 9.68, and 2 blown passes when I double-buttoned 2nd gear - 9.75 & 9.83. Fun fun fun. I'm psyched to go 140 on the 1109 & stock head. I used to go 144-46 with the 1195 & mild headwork. 'Dese Lectrons make powwah I tell ya

Yes, and I'm not sure it was running right. I could've been me, I've never ridden a turbo bike beofre, but it felt like it wasn't making any boost. Anthiny said he was taking it down to Barry this weekend, so we shall see I guess. Sweet bike for sure, Anthony is a decent fella as well.

hmm...odd....I recall the only times ive ridden it ...it was quite peppy!
did it break into the 9s for his license?

Fraid not. He was having tractions troubles with his Shinko, so maybe the boost issue started before I got on it. Hopefully I'll get another chance to make a pass.

Finally got my suit and a "borrowed" kill switch. I'm slowly but steadily improving on the 1/4 mile times, although I've been a little quicker in the 1/8th at Jax Raceways (60ft, ET, and mph). I'm still pretty excited.

I thought he had been using a Metzler rear tire (something that barry recommended).
I have no doubt you can ride it again as many times as you like...since you are helpin him get his license.
Hope whatever problems he was having arent too serious!
