What RPM do you shift at when racing the 1/4 mile (2003 stock motor with full Muzzy) ?????

I shift at 11.2 using a shift light (true rpm)

I shift just before 12k indicated on the tach.

Right before the limiter. I've got a lil piece of black tape right on the tach that shows me where that is!

ditto...my experience has shown me that the closer to redline you shift on the ZX-12, the quicker you will go.

Yeee-up...about 12 on the tach...
Take it to the limiter in 3rd or 4th gear (so it revs slow enough to watch tach) then learn to shift JUST before the limiter...SHOULD be VERY close to 12 on the tach...
