HotRodNinja, goes down at the Track!!!
Guys I just wanted to let everyone know that HotRodNinja Went down yesterday at Byron Dragway, just outside of Rockford IL. He was Ok yesterday, from what I had heard. and I will let you guys know what is going on as I hear about it! we had 7 streetbikes left and Todd was racing a Busa, and the run was for the Points Championship,(I beat the #1 in the first round to stop his points)and Todd only needed to win 2 more rounds to win the championship for the year. From what I could tell(I was getting ready near the startingline, I was next in line)he lost the race but in doing so he hit his brakes to prevent from breaking out and his front tire gave away on him causing him and the bike to go down at 140 mph. The bike slid over 1/4 mile all the way down to the turn off lane, and Todd slid for a ways and then started tumbling and he tumbled quite a bit, everyone was freaking out and the track was getting crazy! one guy was saying to call the lifeflight? but todd was talking and no bones were sticking out, but they took him into rockford and I am going to try and get ahold of someone tonight and see how he is. but just wanted to let everyone know.

Found out today he has a broken wrist and a broken foot, with some Road Rash.. but he is going to be ok!

Damn........heal up soon and get back on that sucker!!
If it was me, I'd probably be madder at not winning the championship than crashing...
Oh yeah.....OUCH!! Road rash and broken bones suck!!

this sucks. Doubly sucks that he didn't win!
Hopefully the bike only slid and didn't tumble. Also hope things heal up for him by Spring 2004!!

Thanks for the get well wishes. Actually Mike, I did tie for the championship, but since I'm unable to perform a run off, it remains a tie. Doing well, should be back next year. Bike isn't too bad, it stayed on the left side all the way down the track.

Been there- done that! except I broke both wrists, foot and ankle.
