Hey Wannabe
What gearing are you running on your 12??? I remember you saying something about adding air because of the bike bogging on the line. So what air pressure are you running??
I'm running a 16/52 combo and 13psi in the slick and I'm still bogging a little.
Thanks DR JOE

I'm still running the 16/48 gearing. I'd like to go lower, but the 16/48 is the lowest that will fit on the stock chain. I'm a cheap bastard, and i don't want to replace the chain until I have to. Plus I'm still foot shifting, so I really can't go much lower and still expect to get my foot on the peg in time to shift into second.
Since you're running lower gearing than I am, and you're still bogging at 13psi, I'd say that your wheelie bars are set too high. (I'm assuming that you took the time to make sure that they were level.) Wheelie bar height is another setup variable you can use. The theory is that the lower the wheelie bars, the more they unload the rear tire during your launch.
Your exact results may vary, but from my limited experience, I've noticed that each full turn adjustment on the rod ends on the bars is roughly equivalent to a 1 psi change in the rear tire pressure.
So, if you're still bogging, I'd suggest lowering your bars (half a turn at a time) until you no longer bog. I actually suggest finding the sweet spot of the wheelie bar height at a lower tire pressure. (somewhere around 10psi) Any higher, and the profile of the MT slick actually starts to round over.
If this is true, why am I running as high as 12.5 psi? Well, I'll save that secret for a later post or thread. It'll just confuse you. For now, just go out there and lower your bars until your bogging problem goes away.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

By the way, just to give you something else to think about, I also threw the stock springs back in my clutch so that it would slip a bit more on the launch. This is something else to mess with, but you can cure your bogging problem by just messing with the wheelie bar height.
