fuk let it go for christ sakes.....he is only gonna give you the numbers that he can, and hell he may not even do that now....all your bitching aint did a thing for getting the numbers that you wanted.
Personally I dont give one rats as if anyone likes me or not, but I try not to be an ass about anything that I see or read on the board. I do it out of respect for the others on this board, the others that are trying to get good info, about whatever topics they are interested in. If you cant get the info that you are looking for here...go some other fukn place and get it there......But dont harass the people on the board and make accusations about people, it just isnt cool. I am no racer, and I dont do any of my own work. hell I pay someone to change the oil. and I dont care about cam degrees, or over bored blocks, or crankshaft throws. I read it to try to enlighten myself some.
Like I said before, if you want to know the numbers, build one......if you cant build it, so what I do and pay some one....then ask.....
Sorry for going on guys....I am just extremely irratated right now....I guess some people just wnat there cake and eat it too.....

This is nuts
I thought the purpose of this board was to share information and help eachother. I personally want to thank Kevin and Blink for sharing the infomation that they have so far. I called Kevin a couple of months ago because im also thinking about this buildup over the winter. Opinions vary, so what..No matter who builds what there is always someone else that can make more power with the same parts. Top fuel and Prostock (NHRA) are perfect examples of this. Come on guys...
Kevin...Thanks for taking the time to share what you have learned on this project. I hope we will hear more Chris
p.s..this post is also to those that have done the research and took the chance on doing something different and then taking the time to share their results.

Had to take some time off from this place
This has been my fav. place (for ZX12s) to hang out because of the LACK of BS...
I used to go to the DarkSide just to watch people scream at each other but now...I just don't have the time for that...wish I still did though it was fun to watch...at times...
I don't understand why you won't post any times (MPH???) RA???
If the best times someone here can run is 10.50s???
I say MORE POWER TO YOU!!! As long as you are having FUN...
Anyone that KNOWS me...knows that I will do anything I can to help them run/RIDE better if I can...TIME permitting
For something COMPLETELY different
I mapped a V-ROD!!!
WOW!!! what a nice bike!!!
First thing I noticed was...it went into nuetral like a NORMAL BIKE!?!?!?
Didn't HURT my foot or anything!!!
Shifts good...RUNS GOOD...
Needed mapping for sure...mostly for drivability...WFO wasn't too far off (with map he put in it)...
113Hp @ 8,200 78Lb...76+ from about 4,500 to 7,500
Yup...Hard-ly DOES make ONE nice bike now!!! EEEEEEK!!!!!!

Hey, KC!!!
Good to see you back after yr "vacation" from the forum.
I just wanted to tell you, that for a l-o-n-g time I have been using YOUR stock motor results (on John's bike?) as my target. The Entropy's haven't bought shoes for our kids for 3 years, livin' on beans n' rice but I finally got there. Yep, I sure am cheating, there is no real comparison. BUT, your results have truly been an inspiration, NJ!!!! You da MAN!!!!!

Cool that the nubers are so close, with such different combos. I was poking the numbers ... lets say Kevin and John's bike were 675 lbs, the air was perfect (it was) and he was running Nutec (he was). To run that MPH he'd need 180hp. For you, at 775 lbs, with your 1427, you'd need to be making 215hp to go 153. In the heat. That seems about right to me. Is that weight figrue right Karl? and Kevin? Gotta love the ZX12r.

Wow Mike -that's a lot of MPH for your weight. The ET is close - at 735 you'd need 184hp to go a 9.24, but to go 151mph you'd need *197hp*. Either your weight estimate is over, or your dyno is WAY stingy, or you had a gale-force tailwind

Kevin, I run 7.3's in the 1/8 at 100mph with my 2001 R6....pipe and lowered only..........
E.T. vs MPH,,,,,,,,,They are related but yet they are not. I still struggle with a "stock" motored zx12 running those times. It is the stock motor that i have always and only struggled with! Never absolutely said it was a lie, just said that I really struggle with that as it is not something "moderately reproduceable"...,,,,Thanks zrxdean, I now know what happened that day. Kevin had a "gale-force tailwind" fart out his ASS going down the track from all that "patting on his own back stuff" on this web site!!!! hahahaha I bet that odor was way worse than breathing nutec!!! hahahaha Everyones vision was blurry and they really saw a 9.83 not a 9.03.............?! hahahahahha

THE THREAD THAT JUST WON'T DIE!
Oh well.
I am about half way through the second oil change now (I drained the oil filter and checked the oil using a microscope and there was nothing but fairly clean oil, I didn't send it out for analysis) and when that is completed I'll change the oil to full synthetic and bring it in for tuning.
The only issue so far is the heating, but the weather is cooling down a little now so I should be OK for a while. I have the fan switch but I still don't like the way it heats up. Then again my wife's F4i runs around 226 degress on the same route so I don't know if just having the status bars only on the twelve is the real issue. I would like to see about getting a larger capacity radiator if anyone knows where I can get one.
ra12r, are you related to RANGER from labusas?

Hey Dean No Tail wind. Weather was oh in the mid 70's to low 80's and I was dialed in with a 9.26 all day that day, it was just a good launch and ran well. my mph with my 1361 is at the 150-151 almost every pass. I am going to do some playing with it this weekend and see where we can get her to. and i believe the dyno was very Low....

Blink,
Unless you are running MOJO cc's or NOJO SR, or needing to sit in traffic for l-o-n-g periods of time in 110 degree heat, you do NOT need a bigger radiator. Like Dean says, drain out yr current coolant and replace with the rec-ed mixture of Water Wetter, distilled water and a splash of green anti-freeze.
ra12r,
KC's times may seem unbelievable to you but I assure you they are real. We all "watched" KC take his ET's down from 9.8's (or something like that) lower and lower, week after week, with 3 steps fwd then 2 steps back. Yes we were (are and still are) cheering for him because he shared his progress and his problems. When he tells his final results, I feel it is because he's really happy about it and wants to share with his internet buds. I have never felt that he was/is bragging.

He has that BlueStuff (Engine Ice) in it...
Kaw was smart to put 2-fans on the newer 12s...
(or dumb NOT to put 2 on the early models )...
I weighed the bike THE-weekend that I ran THE-#s...WE were 700lbs even "as ridden down the track"
The bike dyno-ed at 184+ with the Nutec
I was 160 of it (in shorts)...maybe??? 157 that weekend
ra...I have run MANY 9.20s and high 5.90s on John's bike with PUMP Gas...
the teens and 0s were on Nuetec AND "perfect air/track conditions"
NO farting though
Sorry it's been so long with no contact Carl...been wondering what was up and how the bike is doing...
Looking forward to seeing you and bike...
WOW...I said something about the 1317 here!?!?!?
HowBout this RA...when I do the final mapping on the 1317...I'll keep the numbers to myself...so it doesn't look like I'm bragging...errr anything like that???
