Where you at ?? We're here in South Florida (West Palm Beach) we have five ZX12's here setup as full blown bracket / supercomp / topgas bikes ....Slick and bars (2 small and 3 big tire) and another one that runs in Street ET. I also have a ZX12 Steet ET bike that needs some work before it hits the track.

i'll be back on mine as soon as my bearings come in (clogged oil pickup=>low oil pressure=>4 spun rod bearings, yes all four!!!). not that much worth updating on a bike that has been discontinued for a few years...

Engine a little bigger than yours, web cams, Brock's sidewinder, Hay's clutch sitting at 63 or 64". Best time in 1/8th is 5.68, consitant mid 5.70's at 122 or 123.

My race bike is a 2001 ZX12 with a SBM 1317cc billet block, Lee's ported head, web cams, Brocks's sidewinder, MTC multistage lock up clutch, Marchesini mag wheels, and sits at about 67". I gave up trying to tune the MTC lock up so I am back to hand clutching for now. Thinking about getting a Hays.

Hay's clutch is much easier to tune than the MTC multistage, I had the MTC and could get good time but it didn't stay consistant. Temp of the clutch made a huge difference on how it acted, so if I had the next run before it colled down it would act different. Rider inconsitancy probably didn't help but the Hay's works better for me. I just have to remebmer when I'm ridding on the street to not lug it in the taller gears because the clutch will slip since I have very little static pressure. I prefer a hand clutch but warped a lot more steels with it.

Yeah! I know what you saying about stock clutch and warped steals. Blueshark the closet that I have come up that way was when Greenville track was open maybe three years ago. Kinda hungout with Clarksdale Kid, Bonnie, Troy, Buck of the Mississippi White Boys crew.Do you know any of those guys by any chance

Hi Ron,
I am the only one racing a 12 in AZ as far as I know. Wish there were more but hard to turn down the 14 power when looking for a fast bike.
