s1000rr top speed limiter?
Hi, i know it have a lot of top speed guys here...
I want to know if s1000rr have top speed limiter form factory (canadian and us model)
I have seen 186 on speedo and the rpm keep climbing
but I want to know rally if it had one and how to remove all restriction on these bike.

I know at Maxton a couple years ago that Brock & KWS Motorsports both had S1000RR's that broke 200, you may want to contact them for some info.

Just had a new HP4 come off the dyno today.
Wheel speed according to the drum was 183 mph before it hit the rev limiter in 6th.
Keep in mind same drum same dyno showed the 14R doing 175 on the limiter in 5th....I went to Ohio Mile and trapped 187 on the limiter in 5th.
Translation: I believe this bike is geared for about 190 or low 190s real world if you can pull it....and considering this bike just did 179 RWHP SAE I think with enough room you'd be near/right there.
