How many passes can you get out of a 1lb bottle using it in say 2 gears? With mid size jet.

You might get 2 with a 30 jet in the 1lbs. And 5 with the 2lbs.

FastR1, what about a .036 pill and a 2lb bottle, 2nd gear through the traps, how many passes? 2-3?
What pill are you using and how much mph gain are you getting?

at least 3, I would get 2 passes on duels, 72 total

SO you were shooting 72hp to run the 162mph? Just curious. Trying to figure out what my gains are going to be. HP should be in the 40-45 range. Gonna run a .036 pill, but it will be dyno tuned for max hp. Hoping to gain atleast 6-7mph in the 1/4.

yes I was amd with a .36 you should be around 10 mph faster

With a single stage of .036 or a dual?? I won't be able to hit the button til 2nd. Stock wheelbase busa. I would SHIT bricks if I picked up 10 mph. I am thinking 7 or so hopefully. Care to un-ass any details on your 8.99 running bike? What 60'? how long? motor et and mph?

You should pick up close to 10 mph with a single shot. I was at 63.5 stock motor, just a step hindle pipe 16/46 gears, foot shifting and an H2 tire. lowered and strapped. NOS in first on wot and duel in 2nd.

On a R1 or 12R, I am assuming a 12R cause I don't think an R1 will go that quick with a little dope unless Jason Miller is riding it. SO the bike was about a 9.20-.30 ride at about 150mph or so? Am I gettin warm. Prolly about a 1.55 60' and you weigh about 185 suited? AM I close

Yes you are very close. My R1 got stolen, so I just kept the name. I am 165 the bike runs 9.50 on motor 1.53 60ft's. yep and 02 zx12r

AHH, Cool. I am putting the finishing touches on my dry kit tomorrow and will dyno tune it next weekend. Gotta a 2k busa with "gulp" 16k miles that runs pretty consistant 9.40s@149. Been a best of 9.35@151.70 but that was in the winter. I usually 60' in the high 1.50s to low 1.60s. Stock tire, wheelbase busa. I am hoping to go some 9.20s@156 or so if I can get it all to work right for me. Actually, if I could duplicate my 9.35 pass except on bottle I would hope for some high 9.teens@157-158 or so. WE'll see I guess. I am about 165lbs also. Thanks for the details bud.
BTW whats your motors mph? Bout one fitty?

All motor is 144 with no timing added, the air in Hawaii is not to good.

SHIT you are picking up hella mph with the dope then.. DAMN IT thats almost 18 mph. We had a local guy here with a big dry kit, 60-70hp also and he went from 9.40s@146 to 8.87@162 for a few passes but it eventually blew up. He dynoed it but never really dyno tuned it. It was still lean as hell. Like 15-1 across the range. It made 235hp though. Congrats on your kit dude. Thats awesome. If I can atleast touch the button at the top of 1st it should help but... I can barely keep it down as it is on motor in 1st. I 60'ed a 1.55 on my 9.35 and did a 1.56 on my 9.38. Most of the time I am in the 1.59-.61 range. I would love to get back in the 9.30s on motor gain but...lots of miles on er. I am thinking high 9.40s @148-149 is what its gonna do next time out on motor.  s crossed:

I was alot slower on stock wheel base 9.75 @ 143 on motor. 1.58 60ft's

I would guess the air to be REALLY humid down there huh? Even though you are close to sea level, I would think the humidity kills em. I mean, its ALWAYS hot and humid here but I would think there is a LOT more moisture in the air down there being on the island. 12Rs with a pipe, filter, pcii and gearing here with someone our weight 148-150mph or so. We are 20' above sea level but a distance from any "water". Almost always in the 90s with 80%+ humidity. Makes a big difference.

I went to +4 timing week before last and be 1.46, 1.47,. 149 16/49 gears left at 3000 and just dumped the clutch. I even got a 50 dollar gift certificate for lowest 60 ft of the night

With only a 36 pill..you should get alot more than half a dozen "2 gear only" passes with a 2lb bottle.
(im also assuming you arent spraying right off the line.)

he only said he was sprayin in 2 gears...and I dont think they are 5th and 6th.
How slow do yalls bikes rev? 2 gears for me goes rather quickly :/
I can get 3 full 3rd/4th/5th rollon races with a 46 jet and a 2lb bottle.
