You can replace them with tool steel shafts.

I am sure that if you don't mind it being bent a fraction, .001 will be fine! That's not much at all, and I bet that many, many street bikes have way more than that!

But good shafts are cheap if the owner is wlling. Why settle for less than the best?

Is this for your bike, or one that you are rebuilding for a customer?

Shane

Thank you Mr Cheese

Shane, this is Kents bike, the one that had the oval big end on #4.

My bike and Dads bike have the Brocks Billet shift shafts and are like new! mine were put put in for 08, dads for 09. I destroyed half a billet trans, cases, crank, pistons, the list goes on... when i blew my big bore stroker and they survived to be used in my turbo build.

Jay, your add states that your tool steel shafts have no flex. Brock states that when bound up, his flex, but flex back. we all know oem bend and stay bent

care to comment on why yours are better? sell me on them application is drag race and or street driving

WE were selling the ones that flex and come back. A good portion of our busa customer run the motors in race cars. What we found out from some very disgruntled customers was the constant flexing was wallowing out the holes in the case where the shafts go. This led to scrapped cases.

WE decided to come up with a fix. Years ago, we stopped the bellmouthing of KZ rods by designing a wrist pin that does not flex. They are now used by virtually every nitro burning bike on the planet.

Since we knew how to do that, it was simple for us to do it with the shift shaft. Problem solved.
