Two Hemmays...a 12R..and a Turbo Bus walk into a bar...
heh...Waitin on anthony to get ready
Busa and 12 Ready to go play (twin trucks too eh?)
Velocity Racing canister on the Turbo Bus
Good as shot as I could get of the turbo (bov)
Other side...not as ugly as I usually find busas...I think its the turbo though (or my 12 in the background) 
Who needs trunkspace eh?

Looks very nice... you two must be the terror of Northeast Florida  I wonder if the 5-0 are watching you?
I guess that a water tank in the Busa tail? He must have some seee-rious boost capability.

He only ran it twice (and I ran it once)
His best time was 6.40@118 spinnin the whole way.
He got me on that run...but I treed him and edged him out on the other run (nice .500 light and a 6.70@112)
The third run he let me ride it....scared the shit outta me and I only ran 7.0@100. He beat me on my own bike..lol
So...after all that...the 12R went 2 for 3 against the busa
Im never racing him again so I can retire with a winning record!!

The thing looks pretty damn serious. I think your idea of retiring while your a head sounds like a good idea. When your buddy gets it sorted out that thing should rip!

6.40 wow, he can do much better, what size nitrous is that and dean that is his air shifter tank not a water tank, Frank Adams makes those weird size tanks to fit in there.

The small black canister is a 7oz Paintball tank used to hold nitrous for use on the airshifter.
The larger silver tank is indeed the water tank for the water injection system.

Eh..he doesnt use the nitrous into the motor...just for an airshifter.
Oddly enough..nitrous is cheaper than co2 around here..so he just comes over to my house and fills up the bottle from time to time.
I do have two buddies who both ride GSXR1000s that spray...they both have 10oz bottles (alittle bigger than that..but not much)....both make about 200rwhp on the spray.
Id think you would have to refill a bottle of that size every run (in the 1/4) if you were spraying that much...they say they can usually get 2 or 3 rollon runs in before the bottle pressure drops to the point its not helping anymore.
Nitrous in itself is not DOT legal

I CAN'T WAIT to install one of they're systems!!! I've talked with Barry on the phone and want VERY MUCH for someone to come up with the money to do one of his kits...
If Ant had us do his bike...he wouldn't have to go all the way back to Miami to have whatever is wrong with it fixed!
One of the GSXRs has been on our dyno (I installed the NO2)...it made 198HP...I believe I can get him over 200 with some more tunning...
Oh ya...they sure did clean up that Bbusa trunk...WHAT A MESS it was when it was in here before...
SCARRY looking mess under the tank also...the way whoever it was installed his NO2 (before the turbo)...

The "smoking" was just oil blowing out of his turbo...he put the bike up on a rear stand on his driveway and left it there a bit too long...apparently there is some oil valve that overflowed and dumped a bit into the turbo..so when he fired it up..out it came.
Nothing to worry about...problem solved...bike runs fine now!

I though/figured it would be simple...The turbo is probably lower than the engine oil level (especialy on center stand) so oil can get into the turbo...
I want to ride one of them things!!!
Were you guys out there Sunday???

In Prostar I believe you Must have a DOT approved bottle for spraying nitrous.... that is why I need one.

Something Ill have to look up...but I dont see why it wouldnt be DOT legal...its rated at the same pressures the nitrous bottles are..and has a pressure relief valve.

How many turbos did he look at before deciding to go with this set up? I noticed that you guys didn't ride your bikes to the track. Were you just saving them for the track or are they no longer street legal? I've been thinking about a turbo for my 'Busa for a while but I really don't know if I could handle the power.

He rode his to the track....I trailered mine in..both are street legal.
If you have ever been to jax raceways..you will know why. the entrance road is a dirt/mud strip thats about a half mile long and really sucks. Not to mention a hard rain came through town recently and created a nice big mudpit where the road used to be. Id imagine anthony is still cleaning his bike after riding through that crap. It really sucks!!!!
I think his two options were taking his bike to lees performance ..or velocity racing. I dont know what made him get the velocity one over anything else....but he sure is happy with it
