Look at MM's bike on his website. I know there are also some pics of Rickey G's and Chip Ellis' bike that you can find for an idea.

Looks like his website is down but it's http://www.madmikeracing.com
I have to cut my fairing for a sidewinder also and I plan to install the sidewinder. get a piece of thin lexan to fit (Use the side cover to get the profile)where the sidecover goes and attach it in place to the mounting points.use a marker to mark where the cutout needs to be and then transpose that to the side cover.I have not done this yet. But I have fabricated lots of things by using similar techniques (Aircraft panels etc.)

Ok, here are a couple of pix's for ya. if you notice you can trim the top section, a little lower to fit right. but this one is cut and it looks ok, so I am not changing it. let me know if you want me to email you a High Res pix. and yes my web site is down right now but I am working on getting it back up and running soon!

and then this one.

well there ya go hope that helps out guys!!! the sidewinder is the way to go!!! but you really should do my oilpan mod to help you get another inch of clearance out of it.

The crank is at APE for lightenening/balancing and I plan on installing carillos.I have HD valve springs and titanium retainers.I don't know what bore size I will run yet but I have to change the pistons (gonna run nitrous).NX (nitrous express) kit is on it's way from calif. (ebay for $285).I have the new bear stacks with the nitrous ports in them.Get the trans undercut by R&D.I want to see the extended tail piece beasly has for the 12 and if I like it I hope to buy one at prostar in gainesville.I am going 8" over on the swingarm.I have a sidewinder already. This bike will be used for drag racing only, but it will be street legal (the law may think it's a bit too loud though!)
