Motorcycle Dragracing,
Have you got any pics of the Beasley tail section or a contact e-mail or web site?. I'm thinking about getting one for my new 8" arm.
Cheers

Here's a # for Ben Beasley, and you can tell him Daymon Harrison sent you. Entropy wants to know how much & whether the tail retains the stock tailight, if you find out, please post. He's in frickin' Africa.

Daymon told me you have to make a new bracket for the tail light and the tail section cost $220 and retains stock seat and mounts.

nope, not in "frickin' Africa" now, came up to London last night/this morning.
I am on the fence about going to 8" extension... decisions, decisons...
Will 8" really help avoid wheelies THAT much better than the 6"? any thoughts??

yA Mike,I believe it was a combination of problems though.
1.My launching style was leaving at about 7-8000rpm and just sliding the sheit out of the clutch. This year I'm going to really try the 3-4000launch and letting the motor pull.
2.I had my strap in the front pulled too tight
3.Sometimes the tracks were not up to par
4.Stock rear shock which is now revalved for this year.
I'm hoping i dont have traction problems again this year

I HATE to do it but...sometimes you just have to back off on the strap or move back on the seat or just not launch as hard (or ALL of the above) IF the track/traction isn't good enough...

Kcadby,i know exactly what you mean and promise this year i will tune the suspension when the traction is limited.Last year there was so much learning going on that i never had time to even think about how tight to strap, just suck it down and go.

Well guys I collected my arm yesterday and all I can say is AWESOME. 0"-8" fully adjustable slots, tubular underbracing and polished. The quality of workmanship is the best I have seen and they even made me up a custom rear calliper mount so that my calliper now sits on top of the disc. When I get a decent camera I will post some pics. The company are called Polygon Engineering and are based here in the UK.
