intake mod? zx14
Is there a such thing as a airbox or air intake modification for the 09 ZX14?
I remember hearing something about it but I have yet to find a answer on google. Maybe they were referring to the flies out?

The frame is the airbox, so there is only so much you can do. Start by looking at where you can seal the box and intake system better. This can potentially help with pressurization at speed. Then use a free-flowing filter, such as the BMC race. You could also run without a filter, which I found to be worth 3 hp on the dyno.

Ya, the frame as the airbox is a cool idea. I have the BMC filter already and bike is being setup on that.
However, you pretty much answered my question on that part. I think what I heard was wrong since it did not seem right.

airbox as the frame makes it a pain to do anything to the motor, as the airbox cant be taken off
