Yes, Rickey just picked up his first zx10 on tues. We will have the head shortly to dissect and extract the math from and work up a plan.

We will be doing a supersport head first and then do a stage 1 cnc port.

We are at the dealer show in Indy this weekend discussing this years plans for his real street and his new zx10's.

The new zx10 should give our new stage 3 gsxr1000 grudge head a run for its money. its all ready got the big buckets and big valves.

Here's a sneak peak Bikeland Dragbike Zone exclusive !!! You wont see this head or setup anywhere else until mid March. No doubt this setup will be copied very quickly by the others.

We are testing this week and we are expecting big power from it. It uses aluminum spigots and 46-49mm throttle bodies and has huge valves and a special chamber design to promote tumble. We use a new 3D laser scanner and Mastercam X3 to design and replicate the chamber.

Here's some pics......

The 18G cast into the thermostat boss indicates that it's a GSX-R1000, 2003 or newer.

Dang! Not a lot of room for valve expansion due to heat.

Man that is pretty, I'm jealous. Part of me wants to sell the nitrous ZX10 and the turbo ZX10 and buy a 2011 Zx10 to race in the production class.

LOL I know, I'm sure you get asked that question quite a bit.

Jim - let us know how much power you think a 2011 head would support, at stock displacement. I heard from one unreliable source that the 2011 head could be modified for use on a <2011 ZX10 bottom end. That would be cool

No, I mean my 2006. I have no real idea if it will work, I understand that there is no cam sensor in the 2011, but supposedly there is a boss on the head in the correct location, so as long as there is clearance inside the casting for the cam post, it might work. I should probably just wait and get a 2011 or 2012 next year, but I like dreaming. Do you have a 2011 head in your shop? The fiche is not up yet online, that I can find anyway.
