Well, I am back in for the mile!

No refunds from what I found out lol. So, I will not fix the explorer, not buy the headers I want and put that money into the bike to have it ready. Vroom vrooom!

Can I still pit with everyone?

I'll be there. Also requesting Friday off so I can show up Thursday and help out with whatever yall need.

Also, needing some work done on the bike and possible some extras too depending on cash. Need new tires installed, change sprockets and chain, add air shifter, add 30 shot nitrous kit, re-dyno tune, and verify if my bonneville pro is installed correctly. Bike seems to be limited to 186 and Muzzy tech thinks wiring was done wrong by the shop I took it too.

Suggestions on who to call? I was thinking johnny cheese but don't know if he does all that. I live outside of san Antonio.

I don't know if JohnnyCheese has the time, But it's worth a phone call. If he does have time, get as much as you can done so he can just tune it. Don't put the new rear tire on until after the Dyno. He could also run your bike on the Dyno and see if it is mph limited. Try to get in for the tune as soon as possibly, just in case you have other issues with your bike or wiring.

Well there is one thing lol...

What gearing everyone using? I am thinking of buying new front and rear sprocket with new chain.

Thinking 18 front 40 rear.... from what I read rule of thumb aprrox. is +5mph per tooth rear and plus ~12mph for +1 tooth on front. Stock is 17/41. Also read limits out around ~198 with stock gearing.

Better suggestion?

I ran 18-40 with a 40shot into 15mph side-head wind,
I'd bring the 41-42 just in case its windy. LOL just in case. . . Ha-ha!

I can help with sprockets to borrow, and spare tanks too.
I have 1) 10lb & 15lb you use every bit of it in 3 days. I would use 1.5lbs each pass.
Plus a couple 2lb bottles we can have waiting full for the next pass.

Call me if you get a chance.

Its coming! All the new parts arrive today and yesterday. Hopefully, I can have it back by the 18th so I can take it for a cruise in west texas with the vette club. I really want to put some miles on the tires since they are new.

I can't wait!

Thanks again!

I believe VP truck will be there again, not positive.

Q16 is an odd choice for yr motor.

I gave it some more lovin' and attention to detail. I'm also trying a new windscreen.

You'll have to pull a TFA protest to learn more
