Warp12's official CALL-OUT THREAD!!!!

Aight aight aight enough of the "My n/a 14 is gonna run over your spray 12 " or whatever.

You got the big bad 1534
You got the big bad 1427
You got the big bad 1287

I don't care which one you bring....pick one and lets do this son!

Maxton or Loring.....or both?

You better not take too long big man.....I decide to throw that motor in and order me up a wet kit and you'll be crying......

Now go and lose some weight, get focused, get some seat time and lets do this in 2011. I don't wanna hear about how the 1287 isn't tuned yet, how the 1427 is still this or that, how you're still breaking in the 1534.

An 11 year old stock piston/crank/rod/valve/compression 12R shouldn't be ANY WORRIES!

You can come out to the streets if you're rusty and see what this 11 year old ZX-9R can do:

cuz you know how we do on the streets

So consider this your official CALL OUT

All the HP in the world don't matter....you gotta ride that bike.

I'm already ready.

LOL, this is great! It's been a while since you called me out like this....

I can't commit on a bike that doesn't have a motor yet....the 14...but I'm hopeful this is the season where we finally get to match our two bikes, "run what ya brung". I had to endure two seasons of you ducking me on motor....no fairings, etc. Still doubt you are up to a dragstrip challenge....but that would be fun.

So, in the spirit of this thread...and for old-times sake:

"I must break you".

Shane

Man, this guy...

Ducks my 1/8, 1/4, and 1 mile challenge for two years running (his 12 on motor vs. my 14 on motor). Now, he figures to lure me into a race where he is spraying 150 hp.

This might just be the year that I beat his best all-motor speed by roughly 15 mph, his quarter mile best by near .50, his best 1/8th mile by around .40, and even his best all-motor run at Maxton. Oh wait, that was in 2009.

But I guess I can find something else to whoop up on him with this year...

BUSA? You want ME to help the ENEMY!!?!?!?!?!?! IZ YOU MENTAL?!?!?

Haha, I'll try and give him a ring a ding ding tonight.

Shane, your best n/a stock motor pass at Maxton was 193 and change right? I'll toss some MR9 in at Maxton and beat your best n/a stock motor passs....after I beat your best Maxton pass (which was on a TURBO BUSA) on my nos 12. Sound good?

As you say...don't talk about...be about it. All I am hearing about right now is what you "are going to do".

If I were you, I wouldn't hang my hopes on beating my NA numbers this year. I've got at least 1287 reasons why that is not likely to happen...

No worries, your best tailwind MR9 run at Maxton was about 1 mph faster than my June Heat pump gas headwind rich map run....so I think I've got it in the bag beating your best stock motor run ;-)

As for that 1287.....sheeeit we know how legendary those motors are....but they don't ride themselves!

And I got 100 reasons why I ain't sweating it....

LOL, tailwind? More like 2500' DA in June with a 50/50 MR9 mix....which you know doesn't do much, if anything.

Oh, now we're talking stock motor only? So, what do I have to do...beat up on you with Racheal's 14?? :P Damn man, how many 14's do you want beating your #'s??

I'm just saying I will beat your best n/a stock motor run at Maxton with my 12. It will have the bottles off and running MR9.

And on the bottle I'll beat your best EVER run at Maxton.

Wouldn't it be funny if my 12R goes faster in the MILE than you did with the big ol' Loring tailwind and 50% more room?

:-)

LOL, I hope you go more than 211.97 on that nitrous 12 of yours.

You let me know when you want to run stock NA to stock NA at Maxton. I will run you same day, on Racheal's 14.

Like I said, show me something...you started the thread...but it looks like you have some work to do.

Good luck!

Ali, the thing I like best about being small is being a non factor when it comes to air resistance.....not to mention hauling a lot less weight down the track.
Being small = TOTAL TUCKAGE

The flip side of that is that the smallest people aren't always the most aerodynamic., depending on the bike and/or rider technnique. There are a lot of factors, and that is why there are some 180+ lb guys who can still fly...

But I don't think many would mind a 50 lb+ weight loss if it were free.

Look on the plus side, Gary....for the time being, you have been faster on your 12R at Maxton than Ali has on his.
