Thanks Y2KZX12R things are beginning to make a little more sense now.Very good explaining what is going on in there.Thanks again i'm gonna sharpen my pencil take notes and do some figuring. I have been working on some 2 strokes where my port timing is what you could say is my cam timing,overlap,duration is kinda all in one By raising,widening or lowering the ports,exhaust pipe diameters and lengths all have the same effect as moving the cams around.Y2KZX any thoughts.Anybody else out there crazy enough to play with any 2 stroke porting?

all we did was add a nother base gasket with a shaved head or mill 2mm of the bottom of the intake side of the piston on out 750 tripples. and it seems not worth it to go over 190 to 200 psi cranking compression. seemed to hurt torque.

I havent played with two strokes much. Just regular repair work etc.
