Welcome! Lots of great info and smart guys here. Don't be afraid to ask anything (AFTER you've done a search, of course).

Welcome Tony ....Tony Jump over to ZX14 forums right here on Bikeland .. Most if not all the ZX14 drag racers hang and post there... Most of the posters here ( drag bike zone ) are Land Speed Racers .. Don't ask me why because i have no clue .. You can do both because most of us here read both Zones ...
Smokin ..
P/S Tony if you have some drag racing tips and how to , you can post them in Drag Racing 101 post on the zx14 forums .. It's one of the sticky at the top of the page .. It will also be mirrored here in the Drag Bike Zone for all to read ..

Thanks guys, On the RST bike I went 8.30 @ 177.00 with the clutch slipping, set up at 61". I need to get some testing done so we can get it set up for me. I know one thing it feels slower than my supersport bike I was shocked when I looked at the time slip.

Very impressive Tony!!!! I know that machine is hard to ride at 61" but I'm sure you will figure it out. Look forward to the progress.

hey Smokin,
good observation; i have no clue as to how things evolved either, just did. eh?
But lots of fine helpful people on both sides.
Tony,
you will like it here, maybe we'll even talk you into some Land Speed Racing.
Rickey Gadson did the Loring Maine event with us last Aug; it was uber-cool hanging with him for 3 days.

Welcome Tony! I stay pretty quiet here as my ZX-14 chassis bike is not a common thing but there are some great folks here that are always willing to help out. As for the LSR, I haven't done it yet but I would have to think it would be like a really long drag race.LOL
