i am always logging. sometimes i even look at them.
it was 13.0ish. the da had to be near center earth air.
the 9.25 i looked at and there was evidence of spinning a tad in 4th but not so bad i knew it.
afr like i said was around 13.0 i need to clean up the line some day but just do not feel like it.
today i wanted to take off the 2 arms with 2.5g weights and go 3 or 4 arms no weight but to be honest i sat in the truck to warm my hands up. it was fing cold quite more so than MIR expecially with the wind.holy F.
i will post the logs then. the last 156mph i hit the limiter at the end into it. i knew i was atleast going fast and should been a quick one cause i did not screw up except for short shift into 2nd
. remember mir and a 1.54 60ft only got a 9.32
and i got the no way a stock zx12 engine thing today.

I can't believe it ET's that well with a 3000+ rpm drop when the clutch engages (am I reading that right?)! It has a lot more left in it!

that is why i wanted to mess with the lockup to get away from that cause the summer it is very noticable in the 330# when it makes a bit less power.
the loged pass before that had the enguagement rpm at 7500 or so but i rode the clutch on that one and got a crap 60ft at a 9.41et.
next spring i can play with arms and see if pulling out the same with no weight on the arms have it enguage higher. in the name of science anyway i have to do it. it was just too cold to mess with today

i raced him a couple of years ago on one of his 14s. he ran a high 9.2something to my at the time 9.6. i was not expecting him to pull up beside me cause he was 3 bikes in front then next thing you know there he is on the other bike. i figured game on and lets not look like a chump. well i got the holeshot and he out biked me but he had 147 to my 146 so i did not look like a chump. it was a lot of fun being next to him on the line.
in that air i doubt i would of gotten anycloser than .2 away on a best pass now that i am doing things different.
sort of why my quest is to get a better 330 to go along with the 60ft.
that air we had yesterday he would of been in the high 8s i think.
but i have to keep in mind i am spotting those bikes at least 100cc to 150cc.(for now anyway)

i am running stiffer springs and hand clutching it out (4mtc with .75 shims) and still 2 arms @ 2.5g bolts each arm. so i get it moving my self and the arms take the clutch out of my hand. still too low of a enguagment so next time i am going with 3 arms no weights 4 springs maybe at .050 or keep it at .075". and see what the lockup rpm is. i know arm pressure wise i do not need much to keep it from slipping with 4 shimmed springs that are close to stock weight with out shims.
if i could get that low point at 8000 to 8500 i would think it would be either killer 330 or a wheelie anyway.

specs are killer air some wind though freeken cold to the point i was in truck warming fingers.
stock zx12 tuned my me and laptop on ecu hack on the lean side and a dobek tuner to ritchen it up so i do not have to get the laptop out everytime. i just look at the afr on my wego3 display to the left of my head from time to time and get a screwdriver out when i get back.
muzzy ti system and a advancer someware around 2.5 adv. bmc filters, 18/50 gearing for now, muzzy snowflake two arms aluminum 6mm bolts at 2.5g 4 mtc springs@.075 shims. (i am hand clutching it and the arms take the clutch out of my hands out a ways so i get it moving and the arms do the wrest.no lower farings as of yet.
if you want to know power, big bore it could cause drama here but it is usually in the mid to low 180s on the dyno i always go to and karns dyno is the other type and there i got 171 @ 13.8 to1 on purpose to compare thier afr to my wego3 and use the dobek to ritchen it up on top end.,
i can not wait till tshultz gets his bike together.(again)
scott NO...

There seems to be a bit of disparity between "good" running stock 12's and the really good ones. Yours appears to be one of the latter. Minute differences in the head castings maybe? or possibly small differences in cam duration, who knows?
On more than one occasion I've run up against stock motor Busas, pipes and such, but stock motor and I've absolutelly pissed all over em. I actually felt bad for the busa guys.........for a second anyway

well my expearence at dyno shootouts a modded busa (older) got 165hp next to my bone stock 163. but as ship and shane would say real world works the torque they make makes up on the et and i run more mph then they do but they kill the 330. and i did not master the clutch slip like some.
a muzzy setup 01 got 168hp to my friends 03 stockers 168. so who can tell.
john was getting 1.58 60s on a stock 06 busa running in the 9.70s that is believeable. the guy with just a pipe and cam mod running 8.80s must think we are retarded to believe him. mine went real fast i am thinking the air combined with me getting the hand of this lockup clutch and the way i need to use it. i could get mid 1.5 60s in the summer but never get a good 330 to go along with it cause it came out like mad and pulled the engine down from power a bit and the good 1.56 60 (for me) with a 4.20 330 made a slow pass. next summer will be the truth on this clutch setup and me getting a better 330.
then there is the duster i have to get setteled with restall converter new blanket starter slicks doubble adjustable front shocks. dam i am going to be busy and broke.
maybe mine is the better cause i listened to doug and took my time being nice to the bike till 4500mi and my compression test cold was around in the 230s psi. and i also no power commander. maybe.
