best cecil slip to date but poor 60ft

i did not have enough spring pressure so i was messing with comming out not wide open and overpower the springs. the pass before this was a 1.52 60ft but i blew the shift into second.
this picture of the slip was the next pass.

i was spinning through the end in 4th gear and i have a 9.42 slip with 153mph pass. i could tell i was hauling ass with the tach at 12,500 almost. 18/50 gearing i have two passes at 153mph from spinning through the end zone.

thanks shane. i think tshultz is trying to go along also. make sure he knows i will pay the extrs 10 bucks for food even is he does not ride shotgun.
friday night was killer air high 30s or real low 40s.
with only two arms on the snow flake this may be the way to maximize this setup by pulling out with enough power to slip it but not enough power to make it blow through the clutch spring pressure. i know for et racing and running the same number it is not optimal way to launch just thinking about it but it has potencial.
i am out of room on the snow flake for more shims so i am putting my .150 spacer inside to get more room for shims.mir should be fun.
shane if i ge tthis figured out and can run even high 9.2s or low 9.3s this way i will be real happy. cecil is 300 ft and should be close to the preformance potencial of mir.
fun fun fun.
i will post the log of the 9.37 chart when i can.

That is great ET considering the relatively huge bog!! Seems like a lot of noise on the TPS?

shane that is the map sensor . i may not be able to get rid of that rpm drop that low.
i plan on doing some searious playing friday. i am at .125 shim per spring. i may add a 4th spring if i have to go .100 more.
what is the weather suspose to do?

yes when tuneing my ecu i hooked up the map to the third channel cause our bikes drivability is tuned by map and rpm. that is how i got rid of the horrible rich spots and lean spots though i must add that one has to add fuel in the tps rpm map(a-n) to fix the stumble instead of the pilot jet mod.

So...have you ever logged the atmospheric to see how much gain you are getting? Are you going right off the sensor in the access plate?

my 00 sensor is off the engine side of the left throttle blade. i did not see a "wow look at this" rise but it does seem to stay steady and not pull more vacume as rpms increase which is what they were shooting for. the newer maps density map only goes to .5 positive. mine goes to .5 and 1 positive. but you must know when full throttle it runs off the throtle position and rpm map. there is a map someware or a equation that for counter shaft sproket speed it boosts fuel x amount. it has been found in the busa code and you can turn off the ram air fuel boost to drum dyno tune and not end up lean at speed. for me i do not care cause i "dynotume" at speed anyway. sort of fun also...

shane there are two map sensors. the one in the tail is atmospheric sensor the one at the throttles on left side is the map sensor.

you can tune your b model my way. if anything you can smooth out the numbers in the ecu by leaning out the stupid rich areas and adding fuel for the stumble. when ever you get around to the fine tuneing.
paul i had a blast friday. the air probally was better than it will be at mir friday durring the day. i need to do some spring testing this week on my jig and see how much i am adding per shim cause i have two .050 and one .025 in it ams am out of room almost. so i am adding my .150 spacer inside and going more shims again. i just need to see if all this is adding up to a 4th spring. friday will be fun as hell.

ok i went through my springs on the bike.
was at 55lb X3 and going from .125 to .150 was going to be 58x3
so i took all the shims out and added a 4th spring.
i hope shane is directly behind me to catch my ass just incase.
it should be ok it is dam near what it would be at .150 added to 3 springs
and now i do not worry about coil bind.
