Slightly O.T., but a good story. (Bonneville)

"Vance Breese"
Anyone who has been around Bonneville for a while will recognize the name Vance Breese. Vance ran Harley's for a long time, FAST Harleys. Open bikes big power. In the early 90's he built a streamliner, probably the smallest tightest streamliner ever, with loads of innovative features including the special trailer. Ultimately it ran 340, I think, but unfortunately Vance suffered a horrendous crash with the bike pencil rolling a looong way. It was seriously ugly.
Vance was declared deceased, but came back and .... Well, listen to the story on the following 3 part pod cast. It is aviation related and Vance was interviewed by Paul Plack from Aviation News Network. It's a three part-er. Take the time to listen.
BTW, those that know Vance will instantly recognize that his voice is the same soft, funny, powerful voice he always had, despite his injuries. It was great to hear from him.

Vance was in "The Lazy Man's Zen" Discovery movie along with Scott Guthrie, me, and some others. He said maybe one of the best things I ever heard about Bonneville. He said (when you go to Bonneville on a motorcycle), "You get to be Superman"

Great listening and story. He cracked me up with the grabbing of the surgeon by the neck.

Thanks Doug. I've searched for "Lazy Man's Zen" - and although it got great reviews, it is no longer available for sale. Do you have a copy? -Dean
