I forget what I weighed, I should have written it down.

I can go two passes, but I run a long line, up to the tail light and back down, with the big 3/8 line. I over do stuff.
I forgot the weight, maybe 15 lbs, does that sound right?
I usually fill every pass........, with nitrogen, its easier than using my air compressor every time. One small bottle does me all year.
You can see my small guage, at the fill point right in front of the back tire.
FYI, dont try to build one scott........, just get a pro job done,
Also, Jason, at RPM, is making some nice moly arms.
You might contact him. Tell him I told you to call.

It has to be more than 15 lbs if my shorter unbraced arm was 14.5. I'm thinking 20 lbs or so?? Also, if it is a McIntosh axle, they are very heavy. Near 1 lb more than stock.

I'm more interested in seeing how the arm could only weigh 16 lbs, since my 9-12" unbraced was about 14.5.

i have a 12-18 on it now Teddy
dads has the same thing. good for a street tire or slick ,I dont think we need the 12-14 range of adjustability tho

even if its 18 i would be happy Shane, i think it was just a rough guess
arm should look kinda like this:
____________
01 ZX-12R 8.84 @ 156.3 no bars, DOT tires. Pump Gas, NA.... turbo 8.47 @ 164.
00 ZX-12R 8.62 @ 165.2 no bars, slicks, Pump Gas, 55 shot.... turbo 8.32 @173

Yeah, 18 lbs is good. I guess I just tire of "Salesman" quoting inaccurate numbers. You would think that the guys who make it would know the exact #'s.
They promote these chromoly arms like they are lighter than air.
If I were going your wheelbase, there really is no other lightweight option.

Shane the reason why the Chromoly arms are soo light cause they strong...
A perfect example is The ZX14 that Jeremy Teasley rides in Pro Street Bike...Coby built that 14 and it has his Chromoly StrongArm on it ( without any bracing )
Think its strong enough???...I'd say so...
So when you compare the weight of that arm to what the other guys are usin in ProStreetBike, then it sure is alot lighter...
For what we use it for its perfect, never have to worry about flex and save a couple pounds too
