Congrats Karl... on keeping Brenda onboard with you as well as the big green bird's western debut - Very well done!
As Dean said, come east young man.
Seriously, very awesome showing this early in the game... a tough feat for most all of us mortals, but I believe there's some big NA speeds in your future, and rightfully so!

And so begins another Entropy era of "If it's Green it's Mean. The last decade brought teens so I expect 20's by ??. FYI the oldest Bonneville m/c 200 Club member was 73 when he joined (on a turbo no less) and the oldest road racer was 83 so Karl is just a kid. Bonneville is calling Karl, grey hair or no hair, the red hat hides all. Congrats on a great meet, Texas promises more. PS. You know you are doing this too much when the gas stop clerks start calling you by name. lol. LSL

hey Larry,
yup, Bonneville is calling me in 2011.
I'm just a youngster compared with a whole buncha gray-haired salties.
As long as the starter points his finger in the direction of down track i'll give it a go.
You have no idea how much i appreciate all yr help & encouragement during this project!!

NOX
As Brenda says, I built a Busa after the Texas Mile bc i ran out of experiments on the 12.
But before tearing down the Busa in April, i built a fresh motor for the 12 so it is ready go for the Texas Mile coming up at the end of Oct. Doug will ride the 12, I will ride the Busa.

Todd,
I'd love to come out to Maxton in Oct, but i have tweaking to do on both bikes for the Mile.
Going back to Maxton is surely on my dance card. You and Debbie and Joe and Joe, and all the Maxton folks are great.

Gary & JC,
We missed you guys at Mojave , but fear not, they are planning an April event in 2011

California Bill,
It was great having you in TFA pits, you & Brenda sure packed us up toot sweet. See you at the Texas Mile.

Tim,
what can i say when someone (you) makes a gear change suggestion, then plants his ass on the pavement and changes the sprocket, and i pick up 4mph. You da man!
Also, you were kind enough not to laugh that I have been putting in the axle from the wrong side for 10 years.
"hey Karl, is there any special reason you are putting in the axle from the left side?..."

Tuna sandwiches comparo.
I did a same day, same mouth, test on the way back from Mojave:

1. (Shell station) triangular package, fermented, tuna salad on white bread with convenient peel away top

vs

2. (Flying J's) square package, fresh, tuna salad on some dark bread wrapped in some saranwrap.

It took 2 swigs from a jug of oldwhathaveyou to get the taste of that dark bread out of my mouth.

Oh, you really were talking about sandwiches. I though you were going all German whale on me. Kinda like Led Zeppelin's Custard Pie metaphor.
