Mike,as long as yours is shifting your good to go.It sounds expensive to me also but I'm willing to pay when its done right. He also said to use the large ram instead of the small one and hook it up directly to the shift lever and not the linkage.

I'll bet an automatic transmission would be VERY expensive!! I'm gonna ask anyway.

Harry is tired of having his skirt blow up and everyone seeing his Carter granny panties when he uses the clutch to shift...lol.
With a full auto trans he can keep one hand on the skirt!

Auto is like ... $6K... When Rob gave me a tour, I believe that was the price he quoted for the pro stock bike.

Harry...ask them how much for a 2 or 3 speed auto, that will be MUCH CHEAPER than a Full-auto...
Even a 2-speed is better than a regular tranny...it WON'T upset the tire/bike when you shift 2nd...a 3-speed would be great (that's what is in my Z1R Dragbike) Smooooooth
Got me curious now gonna look at the tranny (ZX12) I have at my house to see what it will take to make a 2, 3, 4 speed auto
2-speeds are VERY simple to make for KZs...
3-speeds cost a lot more (for KZs) because you have to split a gear in half...you can only use one-half (lets say left half) of the gear after it's cut so you have to...buy another new gear...split IT in half to use the other half (right half) to have a complete tranny...
Confused yet?!?!?!
I had Auto-trans explaned to me NO-LESS-THAN 3-times...DIDN'T understand how they worked till I saw one in person for the first time...
NOT complicated once you see one...

$6000,That can't be.Its only $3000 for a BILLET full auto for a kz or gs bike. The tranny in the muzzy prostock bike is still stock gears and just rehardend ,i believe.Or am i wrong?Even if it was a full billet,$6000 is way too high

Harry,i don't think you want a auto for a street bike. How often do you want to be changing shift forks?

My other 12 will only be ridden at the dragstrip or maxton. I have a 12 to ride on the street. I don't think a 10" over swingarm would handle too good on the street.
