the slipons are scorpions...i cant imagine they do anything but i will see if they have maps........

i keep tryn to compare this to cars...and one things i swore by with car racing was to never use mail order tunes...always dyno tune......are these mail order maps even safe or worth it....or just hop on the dynojet???

You dont need a map with slipons, you'll end up making it rich...

Save up for a Brocks CT pipe and use his map...No dyno tune needed!!!

sorry to disagree, but if he removes the flies on an 06-07 zx14, he will need a remap, as his afr will exceed 16:1 wfo at 4000 rpm.
Some have ridden around a while with them out without engine damage, and by a while I mean a thousand miles or more, depends on the fuel and your riding style I would say.

Lee is right, it can be launched with flies, but not nearly as predicatbly, or with as much consistency, and the heavier you are the more it needs the flies removed.
I weigh 210, not 140, and beleive me it bogs like 600 at 3000 rpm if you try to torque it off the line, or let it fall below 6000rpm, in fact it bogged so bad it nutted me, then stood straight up....like a fucking bucking bronco...
a great way to smash your oil pan too!

The heat generated from slipping the clutch all the way through first gear , first to keep it above 6000 rpm, then to prevent 12'oclock was insane! and bad for the clutch!

fuck the flies!

many have had the same opinion, advocating for over 4 years now to remove them for consistency and safety.
if the ecu controls your throttle, that means you are not controlling your throttle.
subthrottle plates are the dumbest neuter method ever imo, especially with the 06-07 ECU program.

If you want an excellent pipe, you don't need to spend $1500 either, ther are always used Brocks megaphones for sale in the classifieds here, for about $600,

The mail order fly less map from dyna jet will fill in the hole below 6000 rpm for you, until you wish to get serious about making some serious (27 RWHP over rev beyond 9200 RPM peak) right to redline horsepower
Brock has the flyless maps for his pipes, and will email them to you when you prove ownership of his pipe, even if bought second hand.

His pipe, map, no flies, and depending on your weight, a gearing change will make that bike feel like a whole new monster all over again. Quite literally like a new, faster stronger bike.

do it! do it now!
you will kick yourself for not having done it sooner!

do you have a strap and lowering links?

There is a map for "stock exhaust, secondary butterflies removed" on the Dynjoet website:

http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/powercommander_iii_usb.aspx?mk=8&mdl=64&yr=2007

You can download it for free and try it. It should work fine for your application.
