modified airbox

what do they do to modify a airbox.do they just wrap the box witha heat shield.is there any other way to do it.do you really get any horsepower gains.what about putting a heat sheild under the tank to keep the fuel cool think thats a good idea.

NASCAR guys use to freeze their AIR FILTER before qualifying ,How they do it ? banned ,. F1 Insulates with GOLD !! Might try reflective paint , instead
