multifunction hub or shift box
whats the differance and which ones better.the multi function hub are the shift box.im working offshore and this creditcards burning my ass.anything else i should go with.i was thinking about getting one of those auto clutch release things,but do yall think thats cheating.i knew to this and honestly i never been down the track.im in the middle of a build,but i dont think thats right.what yall think

All the multifunction hub does is let you connect other devices to the power commander. Unless you have a quick shifter, LCD or other remoted device you won't need it. Are you talking about the shift kill or auto shift box. You can get a shift kill w/auto shift built in, may help with consistancy. An auto clutch release will be hard to use on a street bike, they are designed for dragbikes with bars.

ohh.i.eventually i want to get something like that but i have no idea on what to get are how any of that works thats why im asking.im just trying to get a good setup

i'd go with the hub. i use it for my shifter activation. hook one shifter solenoid wire up to a 12v soure (horn, tail light) and then the hub supplies the ground. set it up for 90% throttle and just far enough below redline that you don't hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift.
the best thing about it is that its two channels so you can have one channel running the solenoid, and the other one your nitrous or whatever. just be sure that if you use it to run the nitrous you use a relay, the hub can't power nitrous solenoids on its own.
ps, quickshifter and lcd screen don't need the hub to use

if you really wanted to get tricky you could use the same nitrous activation relay wired back into the hub to automatically swtich maps over when you activate the nitrous
