well compared to the last old skool shinko the power race hooked well but at a lower psi but you could look at it new and see it did not have but half the new tread depth.
i would choose the power race for a do all tire for sure. i loved the way the bike rode and handled.
next week more clutch spring testing.

Yes I can see that you haven`t decided to go all out drag race with you bike yet,lol..... But for the price of the Shinko you can afford to buy a couple a year if need be.....Thats my way of thinking anyways.....I thought the 003 was more than enough tire for my use ,at $150 I`ll burn one up....
Well at least you don`t have any wheel spin.....Shimming the springs you can deal with....Good job Dennis.....

i was trying a few changes on different things this wknd, but every now and then i would add half a pound to the hook up and it hooked every pass. ran it at around 16 on my 8.84. 72in wb...

Hey, add another 2 lbs psi and see if it holds, might get some more mph. As long as she don`t spin on the topend.
