air box grommet ?
The grommet for the access cover(one of three) to the air box is spinning in the frame. It doesn't look like it can be tightened up by compression. This is on a ZX12R. Any suggestions?

part #92015b - Is there a way to tighten these up?

That's called a rivnut. There are special tools for installing and tightening them. You can cheat by using a 2" long bolt of the correct thread with a nut threaded onto it.Thread the bolt into the rivnut and tighten the nut while holding the bolt head.It will draw the rivnut tight.Be sure to use at least a grade 5 bolt so you don't break it while doing this.
