Nox is not coming, don't worry.... We will have a good payout to the ones that show. 5 - 10 bikes it don't matter! The big action is going on with the grudge racing. You don't want to miss that.

You got that right, without you posting any payouts Mass, you can forget anyone from up here even thinking about it.........

Don't talk smack, when you won't post the purse.......

PMRA and TMRC is full payout, every time.

So, with that one entry at the last race....., what did you pay him, if it don't matter........?

Wheelie, I feel ya. Nox has a problem with the KOTT. Were still here, having fun anyway. If I did guranteed a payout, he still have something to say. And he still will not show up. Sad to say but your a hater. Keep hating and it help us to keep going and going and going. Look @ this Vulcan Bike week with all these huge guranteed payouts. It was a flop. I would not put myself in this position. Times is to hard to make yourself look bigger and better than everyone else. My event is a place to relax and have fun. Meet new and old friends. Everyone is caught up on big payouts. That why our sport is fading away. So who ever want to have some fun and win some cash is welcome to come and enjoy themselves. The mission now is to keep motorcycle drag racing alive!

I agree Ken. Some feel they are racing to make a living, it aint happening. If you win a little, great. Its funny that people complain about payouts and not show up to races but go to tnt every weekend and thrash on their bikes for free.

I aint hating on it......, but that is a long haul for me......, if I am going to go, I want to know what I am getting myself into.

Mass does not say how many times I was at the KOTT events at RRR......, ALOT. When they got farther away, and the the guranteed money went away, we quit going. I dont tnt all the time, but man, we got some of those guys here. beat the heck out of a nice expensive bike all day, but wont drive two hours from their house to tulsa, or 3 hours to noble for a race......, I drive 4 and 5 hours......., but where I am, I am 6 hours from this event we are talking about here........., its a little different for me..........

But, it all depends on how serious you want to be.

Obviously, there is no guranteed purse, and from what Mr. Matthews said, it was a one bike class last time. Common sense tells me to stay home on that one......

That Vulcan thing was nuts........., 90,000 dollars? From what it was said, the guys were promoting the event in a Hyuandai (spelling?) car.......,

Common sense would have said to stay home on that one.........

Now, if I was a couple hours from the track, then I would run down to yall's event......

But, i dont see any of you crossing the state line at texarkana to run the 5.90 event this weekend here at Prescott, AR. I would not drive 6 hours for it......., but I am two hours from it, and I may go.......

But Mass, you can't hate on folks becuase they may show up, and if there is only one bike like Matthews said....., what you gonna do then.?

Chill out, we are just talkin.

I was the only rider in the 9.0 class, not a big deal since I live in Dallas, NOX I can see your point wanting a purse for driving a long way, the way racing is going these days that would be stupid for a promoter to do that, nothing is for sure today, who knows how the Kennedale race will go, but I have a feeling it will do well being close to Dallas and being in Funky Town.

I can tell you exactly why those people will beat on their bikes week after week and won't travel to race. Because there are a lot of people who race for the thrill and enjoyment of taking a bike down the track. The bracket racing crowd is damn near as bad as the "grudge" scene. Nothing but a bunch of people trying to "make a living'' racing instead of having fun and enjoying their time at the track.

We generally don't have enough bikes out at our track to have classes, so if we do bracket race it is an everyone throw 20 bucks in the pot and it's a pro tree bracket. I will say this though. You will never find better comraderie than we have out at barona. I can show up and set up my tent and by the time the drivers meeting starts, every bike out there is parked around it and people are having a good time.

I would race if I didn't have to travel around to do so, but times are tough enough that I can't justify driving 2,3,4,5 hours to get 5 passes and spend 100+ dollars in food, gas, and entry fees when I can ride 20 minutes out at the local track and make 20+ passes for 40 bucks and food.

The other problem you have, is., like my home track, 20 to 30 bikes there to TNT and "grudge" race......., and all night long, not one money race goes down, and there are tons of guys that could fit in a class, but its easier for them to jump in a TNT lane, than get in and RACE, and all I can think is, they can feel better when they go back to thier buddies and say, well, I am just testing, etc...., rather than, I got beat.........

Hey Matthews, where were you guys at last weekend?

They are scared or they can't afford to enter a class. People enjoy fun & Grudge. They want to talk a lil trash and say how fast they went. And the spectators like it also. But I like to keep the best classes. There is no need for to many classes. Only the ones that best fit the area. I talk to a few of the t-n-t guys to try to get them to enter these classes. Mainly ST ET. They are not interested because they don't understand bracket racing. So maybe we need to start a beginners class for the rookies no payout, no extra cost. And help them to understand the rules of these classes. I bet you that they will feel good about entering these classes.
