the Muzzy stealth kit was a very well put together kit
I use a home made setup i pieced together with extras. Mostly NOS brand stuff with Schnitz electronics

thanks. i got one recently. woppi also gave me a list of electronics to look into. thanks for the in site. what is safe to spray a 1287, 13:5.1, o-ringe, ape 1/2 stud,ported and kit cammed head, vp fuel, engine? thanks again old

Depends on the efficiency of the nitrous kit, duration, plugs, electonics, and most importantly the build and tune.
There is no "safe" amount, only safe setups. Most problems occur due to 3 main issues:
- Improper nitrous use (low RPM and/or 1st gear) or too much duration.
- Improper set-up and/or tuning.
- GREED. Too large of a shot.
Other contributing factors can result in engine failure from nitrous, such as the condition of the clutch, bushings, transmission, etc. Nitrous puts an excessive amount of stress on these parts. If they are worn to begin with... The nitrous will only expedite the engines death, especially with an inefficient nitrous system.
The more efficient and refined your system and setup, the less stress it places on the engine, which translates into more engine life.

who did you find that O rings a 1287? I doubt you would need it done with proper prep work. and if you are building an all out nitrous bike, build it like a turbo bike. stock or slightly lower cr with stock bore/stroke. it will live longer. but for a typical street machine a 1287 thats well built and tuned should handle 50 hp easy
what kind of VP fuel? C16 would be best for an all out race setup, but hardly a good choice for street use.
the builder and tuner are far more important than just buying the best parts money can buy.
