Islandrider should have a good base run this weekend because of an expo race for the IRDC race in Hawaii this weekend that the shootout bike's are doing.

Well I guess Islandrider is buzzy so I will fill you all in. Had the 1st race of the season in hawaii and Islandrider was #1 quilafier with a 9.20 @ 158 1.65 60ft. Bike is not poping. But it did have one big boom or pop when it missed shifted. The 2nd Q is a 1258 with a coby head and mps kill and pops every shift with fire coming out the pipe!

So why did the bike miss a shift??Too much power for the tranny to unload and it needs to be recut. If he misses too many more shifts those hd valves springs may not save him

Sorry been working too darn much to surf the sites. Not sure why I missed the shift Cowboy, hit the NOS in first and the wheel spun. The boom was either me missing the button or spinning into the rev limiter. Perhaps I screwed up being a little jittery trying to beat the "big dog". (only 8th time out)
They just repoured the 60' concrete w/6 day cure time, a couple of rain storms and no VHT before we ran on it. Other than that, the bike ran well all night. Not sure why my bike isn't popping, used to do it before the rebuild. 202sae all motor. Haven't dynoed the 40 jet.
