2k ZX12 head on 05?
Will it work? Friend has found 05 motor but we know the head won't bolt up cause of the different mount. Figured we could put the old head on. Anyone done done it? Anyone know the alternator options? Can we reuse the old rotor and stator on the late model crank? Thanks

99% sure the heads swap
the rotors will swap so you can change the stator, they are different

Just change the flywheels, and you are good.
Takes two different pullers to get it done though........

Actually just a bolt to get the late model one off. Gear position sensor must be swapped also. Plug is different. Swap went well.
