Dyna shift minder
I have a 01 12 and just installed a dynatek shift minder and light, dsm-2h.
Light comes on at 8000 with all buttons upand won't go higher..... Dynatek says this should be15,785.
Directions have an addendum saying zx12 needs the T adapter and wired to coils. After reading here, I wired to the tach wire in the back of the instrument cluster without the t-adapter.....what gives.... Im an electrical idiot by the way so plz dumb down any advice...
thanks

you need the 2 wire adapter to put on the coils, i had the same issue with mine when i used it. it worked with the adapter, i think it was around $20

thanks Scott... I have the T adapter that came with it. I was gonna hook it to the coils but I read on here that others hooked it directly to tach wire....
Hope everything is working out with your bike.... Will be seeing ya at the all bike weekend in July....can't wait!!!
