The screw has only moved out about 1/2". It is still holding bone together so it can not be removed yet. I am not having any serious pain from it!

You know How Grandfathers are!! They only want the best for you ! To me, it sounds like you are at 95% average (No one can do 100% day in and day out!) for everything "EXCEPT" !! I am pushing for that Except for more reasons than just your Leg! I also think you know that I am pulling for you 100% (No physical pain involved on my part)! How does Early February sound for Satisfactory Healing to start 100% weight bearing?? (That is only a little over 2 months! About right??) Continue to be patient with yourself! (The hardest person you will ever deal with! "I Know"!)

I did a few things today and feel about 95! AND!! Fathers are a little more intense than GrandFathers and Generally Grand Children tend to Accept there Advice just a little better!
I hope that this will help you and some others about "Dealing" With problems!! One time I had to lie in Bed for 67 days in Traction for the Break of my left Femur! (I was 27 years Old, "Young" and good looking! I had quite a time with the Nurses!!)
The Last time, I walked on Crutches from July 1997 to December 1999 and Canes until March 2000! (3 months shy of three (3) Years! and 7 Operations, some 6 & 7 Hours Long, Died twice (No Pulse or Respration one time 9 minutes and one time on and Off for 45 Minutes! They had the Machines on me and everything!) Imagine my last operation where I had no problems, but the last thing I see is them glueing the Paddels on my Chest to restart my Heart if it stopped! That right there was enough to stop it! 
Remember I was using a cane until March 2000! I bought my ZX12R (The first one they had) in April 2000. I was 54 when it all started! As you can see, it changes "NOTHING"!!!!!!
"YOU WILL MAKE IT ON YOUR OWN IN FEBRUARY"!!! (Help yourself and you know how!) Tell me, Is it something you cannot do????

BTW, you may not remember, but when I was New to Labusas and you nor anyone else knew me from Adam and there were some really rough times on the Board over which way it was going to go! (Everyone or Whites Only) You spoke up very strongly on the everyone side and took your share of Abuse! To Me Personally, you are one of the reasons that Board is still one of everybody's Favorite Board! That is where and when you became one of my "Personal" Heros! No Bull, Just Fact!! (They do not have a "Thumbs Up", but here is how it should be from me! :up :up

Sorry....I am just getting back on the board to catch up!!!! Between my job, our business and this cripple thing, I am swamped!!!
I kind of remember that bull crap thread!!!! LOL
The main thing that I remember is that it pissed me off when those big turds were talking smack!!!! Glad you stuck around.
I drifted away from that site when all the crashes were going on! I got so tired of re-registering.
BTW - What happened that you had to go thru all of that mess (operations / crutches / cane)???? I can not remember if you told me or not!!! You can e-mail me at zx12girl@yahoo.com
