Quick 2 gear run to 12k indicated. The GoPro doesn't like low-light conditions. Also, sound setting on "HI" is too noisy... and aggravated by the 15-25 mph winds:

I am probably going to hook up the Motocomm again, and perhaps look for an inexpensive HD unit.

The GoPro is nice, I just need to experiment with it more. The Motocomm can also work well if you set it up right:

The Motocomm audio is hard to get right (but so seems the GoPro), and you have to do a fair amount of wiring to set it up. I think the GoPro might has better potential picture quality. But, as I say, I'd like to try a HD unit.

I edit these with Windows Movie Maker, but I think quality suffers as a result. I'd like to find something better, yet inexpensive.

Yeah, we ended up shoveling a 30' square area, and we towed it out. Kind of a pain for it to get stuck over there. Still snowing here...

Yeah, I'm sure my F150 would do a lot better in the snow with some tires like that. But I plan to use it for a lot of highway towing (we did 10k miles travelling last year...just for racing/related).

Maybe I will get a spare set of wheels for the winter...

those are really too wide for winter(12.5in), but work great in the mud. or wading deep snow at low speeds. icy roads are kinda iffy

I couldn't ride today either. It was 80F and I couldn't find my vented summer gloves (damn kids). You know how it is - sweating inside weatherproof winter gloves is just soooooo uncomfortable. It's supposed to plunge back down into the 60's next week, so I should be okay to ride to work then. Whew!

Racheal got a HD GoPro for Christmas, so it was my obligation to test it:

My seat cowl is loose-fitting and vibrates, but otherwise I really like the quality. Not bad for the first tests of the camera!
