Gainesville test-n-tune 11/13/2002 (last night)
I went to the test-n-tune last night. I saw ZRXDean,YCIS and john up the grove.
Keith dennis was there riding robert supernaught's bike. I saw him run an 8:40 on it.There was another busa left over from prostar that ran 9:21 against me.There were only two 12's there , mine and johns. Dean seemed to have a problem on the last run. What was it dean?
Chris jones was there on his Turbo Busa.He was running low 9's. He hit a deer on the way to the track.he was lucky it hit on the left rear quarter panel and was close to fuckin up his bike.No damagt to the bike though.
I'm looking forward to sat night!

Goddam it was cooooooooooooooooolld out.
It did make me feel good to see the other "street" busas only turning mid 10s @ 135 - 139mph
Now that turbo bus was just plain insane

I had problems all night, leaking coolant, blown head gasket. Before the last run I had pulled my tank off and when I put it back on, I neglected to turn the fuel valve on. It ran fine until the nitrous came on, and the fuel side had no pressure. The safety switch was cutting the nitrous off. Good to know that thing works - I could've melted my motor from something as simple and stupid as leaving my fuel off.
The run before I lined up against Shine and got my ass waxed. I spun, then wheelied, and ran a 9.25 to his 8.63. That bike is badass. It's not Robert's anymore though- he sold it. I would've felt better with an 8-anything, but oh well.

Shine came up beside me in the staging lanes and while we were waiting I asked him if he had brought a pillow and a blanket.He asked me why is that? and I told him cause he would have time to take a nap before I got to the end of the 1/4 if I ran him. He laughed. I saw him run an 8:4?

How busy is G ville on a test,tune night? How many runs,when does it start,what nights is it. I'm getting tired of the import car fest at orlando..

I made 5 runs and could have done 6 but I left a little early cause I had to work the next day.Gates open at 6:30 they start running at 7 till 10 pm and it costs $15 to run or $5 to watch.Wednesday night

Its fairly busy...id say there were 150ish vehicles spread out over 6 staging lanes.
It sucks that they put the bikes in line with the cars now...it used to be so nice when we had our own lane.
