In the 8s @ 161...
Woohoo! Yesterday was good for me at MIR to the tune of 8.85 @ 161! Backed it up with a 8.97 and a 8.93 to finish up the afternoon. I'm going back today looking for 8.70s!
My only changes to the bike from Maxton was gearing (17/47) still running a #34 dry kit and getting on the button coming out of or in the top of 2nd gear which yielded 161 traps (128 at the 1/8th) with 1.48~1.49 short times. The last two runs I spun a little on the .97 and wheelied a bit for the .93 which I think could have been another solid eighties pass. This was using 93 pump gas and the nitrous map posted on my site (pulling -2 degrees of timing just to be safe).
I will post the timeslips tonight after I get back scan them all!

Bergie... you are obviously not a sail boater! You should be enjoying the journey and not be so rushed!! seriously... Awesome times and no matter how good the equipment it takes skill to get where you are at. Nice numbers.

Congrats Bergie!!!!! We are trying to get into the 8's as well on motor (ZX12 Girl) anyways She's close 9.11@156.75 1.6 60 ft no map.She needs to work on her 60 ft. Will get the bike dynoed and have a custom map made over the winter. The bike has a 34 pill and has been used on the streets but not at the track. We want to know how far the bike will go on motor before we give her the pill

Thanks everyone!. The wheelbase was 63", not 60" (I wish!).
I was very happy and now I'm even happier! Sunday I went to the MIR World Finals, they're largest turnout for a street event in history!! 650 vehicles racing! Both sides of the pits were completely full took over an hour just to get in the gate!
I MADE THE FINAL ROUND IN STREETBIKE ET!!! Only got two practice runs but I was dialing 8.90 all day long (no sandbagging I wanted to earn it the hard way) running as strong as 129 MPH IN THE 1/8TH but my 60's were off a bit from Saturday, 1.55~1.58 short time yet still yielding solid 8.90s all day long FOOT SHIFTING! I was happy!
I lost to MYSELF in the final round by somehow either backing out of beam (redlighting) and giving the auto-win to Grayson. It would have been an awesome final as he was dialing 9.oohs to my 8.95 (he was using an airshifter). Oh well, I'm still excited to end the season at MIR with a victory at their largest event taking home a trophy and $$ for runner-up.
I was jumping on the button quick! 1st gear spraying!!! on the 129mph 1/8th mile run it was a bracket race so I ended up letting out, but I planted the launch and grabbed the #34 jet dry before shifting the 1-2! It was sweet.
I tried it a 2nd time even earlier (bad idea) the nose came straight up nice 1st gear wheelie on the kit but didn't let out of the throttle just let loose of the button and it came down with a nice spark-show for the spectators! Won the round as it was brackets at that point too.
So it sucked to miss Gainsville but I was happy to get out and accomplish something, especially in front of a packed crowd at MIR! It was like something off TV or something .
Rockingham next weekend will be my last racing for the year. Hope to see some of you there. I will be shortening the bike to 60" to run the final 60" PSB round for points. I'll probably get knocked out 1st round with the big boys but I need the points to finish a top-10 for the year in that class. NEXT YEAR my goal is to run solid 8.90... 60"!!!
